The training for guides and lifeguards on the Via Ferrata brought together 20 participants from Serbia and Montenegro who have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to lead tours on the Via Ferrata. The training consists of 5 modules that are organised in three sets of lectures lasting five days each.

As part of the practical training, visits to Via Ferrata Gornjak (14.9) and Via Ferrata Mučanj (15.9) were organised. Due to bad weather conditions, climbing on Via Ferrati Mučanj was cancelled.

The contract for co-financing with the funds of the European Union was signed with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia - Sector for Contracting and Financing of Programmes from the funds of the European Union. The project is jointly implemented by the Municipality of Plužine, the Municipality of Tutin, and InTER.

The implementation of the project began on 1 November 2023 and will last for one year, until 31 October 2024.
